Building Information Abstracts
A Building Information Abstract (BIA) is a document that contains information regarding zoning compliance, building information, and building history. This includes a review of a real property report for site compliance with applicable bylaws. The city will require a real property report that has been completed within the last 5 years. A BIA costs $50.
Property Information Disclosures
A Property Information Disclosure (PID) only contains information regarding building information and history. A review of a real property report for site compliance is not required. A PID costs $25.
General Information
- BIAs and PIDs contain historical and current information on properties and their zoning.
- Property owners, property purchasers, real estate agents, lawyers, and lending institutions can all apply for BIA or PID.
- The City of Warman requires a minimum 3 days for applications to be processed.
- Information will not be verified by an inspection.
- Payment must be received prior to the issuance of a BIA or PID.
