What can I do to help in the snow removal process?

Snow removal signThere are a number of things that homeowners can do to help our crews during the snow removal process:

1. After a snowfall, at best refrain from parking along the street. In areas where there are no front-facing driveways, crews will put out signs indicating date and time of snow removal. Residents in these areas are asked to do their best to adhere to this snow removal schedule.

2. Refrain from leaving your garbage/recycling carts out for extended periods of times before or after pickup.

3. Cleaning your driveway of snow in a timely manner will help crews identify your driveway, and increase the likelihood of windrows NOT being placed in front of your driveway.
