As per our snow removal bylaw, residents should refrain from shoveling, moving, sweeping or cleaning any snow, ice, dirt or any other obstruction onto any street, sidewalk or lane. Doing so hampers our crews' ability to effectively remove the snow.
In areas where snow is windrowed onto the sidewalk, residents are not required to shovel their sidewalk. However, they are encouraged to shovel their driveways as soon as reasonable, to help aid snow removal crews in identifying driveways.

While not directly related to snow removal, residents are asked to be mindful of parking regulations in the City. No vehicle can remain parked in an uninterrupted fashion for longer than 48 hours. For more information, please see our traffic bylaw.
