As a homeowner, what am I responsible for regarding snow removal?

As per our snow removal bylaw, residents should refrain from shoveling, moving, sweeping or cleaning any snow, ice, dirt or any other obstruction onto any street, sidewalk or lane. Doing so hampers our crews' ability to effectively remove the snow.

Visit the Snow Removal page to read the City's updated Snow Removal Bylaw and view the City's Priority Road map.

While not directly related to snow removal, residents are asked to be mindful of parking regulations in the City. No vehicle can remain parked in an uninterrupted fashion for longer than 48 hours. For more information, please see our Traffic Bylaw on the City's Bylaw page.
