Waste Collection

Waste collection is done biweekly. Waste carts must be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 A.M. on your collection day. Pickup times vary from week to week.

Please refer to the FAQs for particulars on waste collection in Warman. For more information regarding waste collection you can click on the following link: Waste Collection Brochure

Limitations
The carts provided by Loraas Disposal are for household waste only.  The lid must be able to close and the cart cannot be overflowing.  Absolutely no regulated waste will be accepted such as:
    • Construction materials
    • Oil
    • Oil filters
    • Paint
    • Solvents
    • Tires

Carts that are overfilled or have regulated waste in them will not be serviced until the homeowner has removed the regulated waste or offloaded the excess waste so that the lid can close.

    Recycling

Warman is continually working towards a green and clean community. Residential curbside recycling is in place and is picked up every other week by Loraas Recycling.  Recycle carts must be at the curb no later than 7:00 A.M. on your collection day. Pick up times vary from week to week. The pickup frequency is subject to change. This is a single stream recycling program meaning that items do not have to be sorted by the resident.  Loraas Recycling  brochures detailing which items can and cannot be taken, can be picked up at Warman City Hall or can be viewed online.

    Organics Waste Depot

Available from May 1st to November 1st, this depot allows for the collection of organics - grass clippings, leaves and and small tree trimmings. The bins are located on the south side of North Railway Street East.

Bins will be removed should snow arrive prior to November 1st.

As these green bins are for organics ONLY, no plastic bags will be allowed in the bin. A separate red bin will be on site for the disposal of your plastic bags after emptying them into the green bin.

Please empty your compost items inside the bins. DO NOT THROW ITEMS ON THE GROUND OUTSIDE THE BINS.

Misuse of this depot will result in fines to offenders and the removal of this service.
