Urban Planning

Urban Planning is a technical and political process that deals with the control of the use of land and design of the urban environment, to guide and ensure the orderly development of communities. This process includes transportation as well as infrastructure staging.

Proper planning ensures orderly development and the choice of appropriate locations for: homes, shops, parks, offices, and schools. It concerns itself with research and analysis, strategic thinking, urban design, public engagement, policy recommendations, implementation, and management.
